Today it is six months since Gil passed away. Here is a newly edited video for I’ll Take Care Of You from his last studio album, I’m New Here.

  1. I’m so sad that Gil is gone. He was one of the main guys who influenced me. I was born and raised on the South side of Cleveland so I really could relate to his songs. Even though I’m a white guy. He made you think.Made me a better person. He seem to have it all together. At least that what it seemed like. I was shocked to learn that he was using. Makes you think just how hard it is to get off the stuff. We lost another great one. But his music was like lessons in life. I glad his music will live on. God is merciful.Gil is with God.

  3. GSH will truly be missed. I have enjoyed his music and philosophy for over 30 years. Sad for his passing. In reading his biography I have learned that he was an accomplished writer as well. He was a true genius in words and music and modern philosopher. Society is better because of him. His legacy will live on. Thanks Gil!
